Marty Lockhart….It
is with great sadness to announce that one of our former AOH, Fenian
Division, presidents has passed away.
Marty passed away after a 5 month battle with cancer. Marty was one of our former presidents back
when we were still on official AOH division.
Marty was 43 years old at the time of his passing, and he will be
missed by many. Our condolences go out
to the entire Lockhart family. Cancellation of Bus
Trip to Bourbon Trail….Due to a lack of numbers it was necessary to cancel our
bus trip. We found that the October 1st
date conflicted with other activities and plans. We hope to reschedule the trip, possibly in
the coming spring. Our sincerest
thanks to Charlie Fedders for his efforts in planning this event. Thanks for a fun
evening with the Irish Tapestry

Have
you ever heard the Tellico Appalachian Band and the Riley School of Music
perform together? Plan for a fun
filled evening at Molly Malone’s in Halfway to Art Exhibit of
Cindy Matyi’s Works….An Art Exhibit including Cindy’s artworks will be
featured at the Cincinnati Art Club-Wessel Gallery, located at Congenealogy….Wednesday,
September 28th at the Baker Hunt Art and List of dates for
Fenian meetings for the remainder of 2011…. All meetings are at Malone’s
Irish Pub in Covington on the second floor.
Meetings will begin at 7pm unless noted in the most recent
newsletter. Our Christmas Dinner will
begin at 6:30pm. Here are the remaining
dates for this year: October 25, and
December 13. Mark your calendars
for those dates, and we will hope to see many of you at our upcoming
gatherings. We will send out a
reminder again about a week before the October meeting to remind everyone of
our October 25th gathering.
Also worth noting….On Friday February
10th, The Irish Heritage
Center
has a very active calendar of events upcoming. Visit their website at www.irishcenterofcincinnati.com. Their phone number is 513-533-0133. The Center will be hosting concerts, Irish
language classes, art classes, ceili’s, theater performances, history
presentations, and more. Check out
